The main motivation for our work is to exceed our client's expectations in the design and construction of their dream home. However, it is also always satisfying to receive additional recognition in the form of awards, articles and features.
Designs and projects by Roderick James Architects are often featured in magazine and newspaper articles. We have also had our designs included on television programmes, including the first two series of Grand Designs and more recently on Alan Cummings' Paradise Homes.

As well as the features and appearances we have had, over the years, the practice has also won over 30 regional and national awards, including ‘Best Self Build Architect’, ‘Best Residential Designer’, ‘Best Traditional Style Self-Build Home’, ‘Best Individual New Home’, ‘Best Eco Home Award’, ‘Best Oak Frame Home’ and in 2009, one of our houses was voted Britain’s Best Home on Channel 5.
