Stones Field
Stone’s Field is a development of a series of lettable holiday cottages set within their own hamlet. Located within the stunning Gower peninsula, each of the cottages overlooks the amazing Three Cliffs Bay, along with far reaching views over the Bristol Channel and out towards the north Devon coast.
With symmetrical double pitched roofs, the colourful finishes of the buildings also hark back to the old cottages with great care and discussion on the final colours chosen. The use of coloured cladding to the walls along with moss sedum, slate and zinc roof finishes further enhance the charming nature of the hamlet.
Each cottage is entered under the veranda which opens into a stunning open-plan oak framed living area, complete with kitchen, dining and sitting area. The living area benefits from stunning views out through a fully glazed wall and wood burner. Bedrooms are located off the main living area.
The fabulous design of the cottages incorporates a fully exposed green oak frame, which has been fully encased within an insulated wall and roof structure. The unfinished oak frame along with areas of neutral painted walls give the cottages a modern twist.
In addition to the high-quality finishes, many additional features which are not normally attributed to cottages are included, such as wrap around full height glazing, sleeping platforms, and vaulted ceilings. The oak frame is further enhanced with subtle lighting, natural solid oak doors and flooring, and all cottages are complete with underfloor heating fed by an ASHP.
